Introduction：Nasasponge® is a dissolvable nasal dressing that is prepared from sodium carboxymethyl cellulose. It can be placed in the nasal cavity after sinus surgery to reduce bleeding and edema and prevent adhesions between the nasal septum and nasal cavity. The nasal dressing drains from the nasal cavity via natural mucus flow or can be easily aspirated with a medical aspirator.
